Looking for an Account Director in Western NY to serve as the senior lead and primary point of contact on key portfolio accounts. They’re responsible for maintaining exceptional client satisfaction and management of client expectations while ensuring that work is on time and on budget, accomplishing strategic objectives and results. They’re equal part salesperson and strategist with an analytical lens and a digital mindset.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop creative briefs, plan and coordinate the implementation of marketing campaigns while mentoring and managing team members
  • Oversee and manage accounts, functioning as senior contact and agency liaison on day-to-day client deliverables
  • Oversee and implement all tactical account service requirements, including conducting meetings, creating and distributing action items, monitoring timesheets, estimates and billing
  • Analyze trends for future opportunities both short-term and long-term with the ability to plan and strategize at a senior level
  • Actively pursue new ways to contribute to overall agency and client profitability
Requirements:

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of the advertising process and the necessary tools and strategies required to address complex challenges while having the tenacity required to exceed objectives
  • Full awareness of creative processes, marketing automation, media advertising, data analytics and digital platforms
  • A keen attention to detail and awareness of deadlines as well as budgetary requirements/constraints
  • Significant experience in professional client relationship management, with strong interpersonal skills to foster optimal relationships
  • Organized and able to create strategic plans, marketing briefs, timelines, budgets, and schedules with the ability to analyze problems and strategize for better solutions
  • Strong analytical and time-management skills with ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Effective team management and supervisor capabilities with the ability to mentor and lead

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Industry leader with 8- 10 years or more experience in an advertising agency
